We keep almost nothing about you.

The Gist Hub (thegisthub.com) and the Android app are made by Nuver Labs. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

Books you save and your flashcard progress stay in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clear the site data in your browser, or uninstall the app, and they are gone.

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the page you subscribed from, the time, and whether you confirmed. We use it only to send you the emails you asked for. We do not sell or share the list.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the list. To delete your address completely, email [email protected] from that address.

Resend sends the emails for us. Resend sees your address and the email content, and nothing else.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It records the page, the referrer, the country, and the browser and device type. It uses a short-lived hash to tell visits apart and discards it at the end of the day.

The site runs on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel keeps short-lived request logs with IP addresses for security and debugging. The subscribe form also counts attempts per IP address for ten minutes to block abuse. That count is held in memory and is not stored.

Book covers load from Open Library. Audio narrations load from Vercel's file storage. Each of these services sees the request your browser makes, including your IP address.

Book pages link to stores such as Amazon and Bookshop.org. Some links are affiliate links and the store may credit us with a small commission. Once you leave our site, the store's own privacy policy applies.

The Android app shows this website inside the app. It collects nothing beyond what this page describes, it asks for no device permissions, and it has no ads and no purchases.

The Gist Hub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
